Anteros Premieres New Song “Cherry Drop”
London-based pop rock band Anteros premiered a new song "Cherry Drop". The song is taken from their sophomore EP "Drunk", which was released on April 14th. The EP's title track "Drunk" was already released on March 3rd, on the same day, the music video for it was premiered on VEVO.
Anteros was originally formed by vocalist Laura Hayden and bassist Joshua Rumble in Spain in 2012. One year later, both moved to London and drummer Harry Balazs & guitarist Charles Monneraud joined in the band.
In 2015, the band debuted with "Breakfast". Followed by, a debut EP "Breakfast" was released in 2016.
The band says that their music is bitter dream pop.
"We love to disguise sadness behind happy songs. If you’re sad, the best medicine is laughter, so we like and have fun with our songs, regardless of the subject matter. We call it Bitter Dream Pop."
The band will perform live at Sebright Arms in London on April 27th. Also they will appear on 110 Above Music Festival 2017 in August 4-6. In addition to Anteros, the festival features other artists like Sundara Karma, Deco, Pleasure House, Kyko, Alxndr, Marsicans, Dance a la plage, Pixel Fix, Young Kato and more.
