Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Seven Lions Premieres New Song “Freesol” Featuring Skyler Stonestreet
California record producer Jeff Montalvo, aka Seven Lions has delivered a new song "Freesol" via Spotify. This time, he teamed up with American singer-songwriter Skyler Stonestreet. The song follows up "Cold Skin" with Echos.
At first, Seven Lions started his music career as a drummer for metal and punk-inclined bands, but he transitioned to music production in 2007.
He debuted with an unofficial remix "Cosmic Love" by Florence and the Machine in 2010. He won a remix competition on Beatport in 2011 by Above & Beyond, remixing their track "You Got to Go".
Since then, he has released remixes and created his own original songs with other artists like Tove Lo, Ellie Goulding, Kerli, LIGHTS and more. To date, he has released five EPs, and the latest EP "Creation" reached number 1 on the US Dance Chart.
Currently, he has toured in Europe and North America since February, 2017. Also he will perform live at EDC Japan in Tokyo on April 30th.
