Weezer Performs New Song “Feels Like Summer” and 2001's “Island in the Sun” on Jimmy Kimmel Live
American rock band Weezer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the band performed a new song "Feels Like Summer" and 2001's "Island in the Sun".
"Feels Like Summer" was released from their forthcoming 11th album "Weezer (Black Album)" on March 16, 2017. The music video directed by Greg Yagolnitzer and Brendan Walter was premiered on March 15. This marks their first live performance of the new song on TV.
"Island in the Sun" was included on their third studio album "Weezer (Green Album)", which was released in 2001. Originally, this song was not to plan including the album. But it became the band's biggest single hit outside of the United States, reaching No. 31 in the UK and No. 17 in France.
The band kicked off their own tour at Stubb's Austin in Austin, TX on March 18. The tour takes place in North America and Europe with a total of 34 shows. Learn more about tour dates, click here.-
Weezer was formed in 1992, currently consists of Rivers Cuomo (lead vocals, guitar), Patrick Wilson (drums), Brian Bell (guitar, backing vocals, keyboards), and Scott Shriner (bass guitar, backing vocals).
