Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Blondie Premieres New Song “Long Time” on BBC Radio 2
American rock band Blondie announced that their eleventh studio album "Pollinator" will be released on May 5, 2017. It's been three years since their previous album "Ghosts of Download".
The album includes 11-track featuring Joan Jett, The Gregory Brothers and John Roberts, as well as TV on the Radio's David Sitek, Johnny Marr, Sia, Charli XCX, and Dev Hynes co-wrote some songs with the band.
The first single "Fun" from the album was released on February 1, 2017, the music video directed by Dikayl Rimmasch was premiered on February 15.
Following, the band debuted the second single "Long Time" written by Dev Hynes. The song received its first play during on BBC Radio 2 on March 21. The single is a limited edition 7" vynil with non-album track "The Breaks".
The band is set to tour Australia and New Zealand on a co-headlining tour with Cyndi Lauper in April. Also, the band will support Phil Collins at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on June 25 and at BST Hyde Park on June 30. His tour title is called "I’m not dead".
