Toronto-based singer-songwriter Lydia Ainsworth will release her sophomore album "Darling of the Afterglow" on March 31, 2017. It has been three years since her debut album "Right from Real".
From the new album, she has already has released "The Road" and "Afterglow" along with the music videos. This time, a promotional song "Into the Blue" was premiered on YouTube.
She kicks off her North America tour to promote the new album on March 16, including The SXSW Music Festival. The tour takes at 16 places in North America until June 7. Learn more about tour dates, click here.
About the song, Lydia Ainsworth stated;
"'Into The Blue' is about reaching the very bottom of one’s emotional depths to achieve purification from fear."- Lydia Ainsworth began composing student films while at McGill University. She composed the score for the film "The Woods" directed by Matthew Lessner in 2011. She released her debut album "Right from Real" in 2014, which was nominated for the Juno Award for the Electronic Album of the Year.
