Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Lorde Performs “Green Light” and “Liability” on Saturday Night Live
New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde appeared on Saturday Night Live, where she performed her latest songs "Green Light" and "Liability". This time, an host of the program was American actress Scarlett Johansson.
This marks Lorde's debut as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, and it's the first time her performing two songs live on TV.
Both of "Green Light" and "Liability" were released from her upcomig sophomore album "Melodrama", which will be released on June 16, 2017.
"Green Light" was written by Lorde, Jack Antonoff and Joel Little. The music video was premiered on March 2, directed by Grant Singer. It has been viewed over 21 million times on YouTube.
"Liability" is the promotional song, co-produced by Jack Antonoff, released on March 10. The song was inspired by Rihanna's "Higher".
After Saturday Night Live, she will perform live at Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California on April 16 and 23. Followed by, she is going to perform at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 30.
