Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Emmi Premieres New Song “Talk to Me”
London-based singer-songwriter Emily Joy Green, aka Emmi has delivered a new song "Talk to Me" via SoundCloud. The song was co-written by Emmi, Max Farrar and Gabriel Benjamin. It is the follow-up to "Couldn't Care Less", which was released last November.
Also the new song was released after her latest work "Blind Pig", which included on Harry Potter spin-off "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" soundtrack. "Blind Pig" is not released as a single, it's in the album only. The song was shortlisted for the Best Original Song 2017 Academy Award.
Emmi made a debut with "My Kinda Swag" after being signed to a music publisher in Australia in 2015. The debut song was selected by BBC Radio 1 as their BBC Introducing Track of The Week.
Her second single "Sleep On It" was released in July 2015, which known for earning praise from Taylor Swift.
In 2016, she performed at The Great Escape Festival and BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend. She won MTV Brand New For 2016 in Australia and New Zealand.
She joined in Sonny Alven's "Our Youth", which was nominated for a Norwegian grammy.- source : CLASH
