  • First Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's New Film “Glass” starring Bruce Willis, James McAvoy, Samuel L. Jackson

  • Universal Pictures unveiled the first trailer for superhero thriller film “Glass” directed by M. Night Shyamalan, starring Bruce Willis, James McAvoy, Samuel L. Jackson and Anya Taylor-Joy.

The film is final installment of the Eastrail 177 trilogy as the Unbreakable film series, including "Unbreakable" (2000) and "Split" (2016).
In "Unbreakable", a security guard named David Dunn (Bruce Willis) survives a horrific train crash. After the incident, with the help of a disabled comic art gallery owner Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), he learns that he possesses superhuman powers.
"Split" drew a young man (James McAvoy) with 23 different personalities, and whose body chemistry changes with each personality, resulting his eventual transformation into a merciless and cannibalistic sociopath with superhuman abilities.
The final scene for "Split" included the appearance of David Dunn to connect "Split" to "Unbreakable".
The film is scheduled to be released on January 18, 2019.
  • David Dunn realized that there are other superhumans in the world, as predicted by Mr. Glass in final scene.
By including this scene, M. Night Shyamalan realized there may be a possibility of completing a trilogy of films.
He stated, "I hope [a third Unbreakable film happens]. The answer is yes. I'm just such a wimp sometimes. I don't know what's going to happen when I go off in my room, a week after this film opens, to write the script. But I'm going to start writing. [I have] a really robust outline, which is pretty intricate. But now the standards for my outlines are higher. I need to know I've won already. I'm almost there but I'm not quite there."
