American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga joined in American musical romantic film "A Star Is Born". The film is a remake of the 1937 film of the same name.
This marks the third remake, last remake was in 1967, starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
The film is directed by Bradley Cooper, starring Cooper himself, Lady Gaga, Sam Elliott, Andrew Dice Clay, and Dave Chappelle.
In April 2018, it was announced pop star Halsey had been cast in the film.
Originally, Clint Eastwood recruited Beyoncé for the film, but the project was delayed due to Beyoncé's pregnancy.
In 2015, Warner Bros. Pictures announced that Bradley Cooper will be his directorial debut with the film.
Bradley Cooper talked on Ellen show, the film contains several new songs, he asked Lukas Nelson, who is son of country music legend Willie Nelson, to write the songs. And Lady Gaga wrote the songs with Lukas Nelson. She joined in his his self-titled 2017 album as backing vocals.
