Santa Cruz-based filmmaker Kyle Buthman in California has created the short film as "Brainwork" series featuring his hometown’s most offbeat characters. This time, the film features former pro surfer Adam Replogle.
Santa Cruz star Adam Replogle, who was a competitive force once upon a time, and a longtime standout in Santa Cruz most iconic lineups.
He is currently working for Billabong and enjoys feeding Santa Cruz homeless population in his downtime, was well as he believes that surfing has certain time-distortion properties.
For Adam Replogle, surfing is his his religion, It’s kindness, and enjoying his time here on this funny place we call Earth.
In the film, “You know how some people have to pump up to get amped? I have to calm down.” he said.
The film has made for some unexpectedly interesting viewing.
